Our Design Philosophy
Only our imagination limits us, well, for the most part! Each project is unique to providing you a little happiness. We can style everything from landscaping plants to material collected from the wild.
The Art of Bonsai
Bonsai (tray planting) is the Japanese art of growing and nurturing miniature trees in a container. The shaping and styling of miniature trees provides a unique aesthetic feel. The Art of Bonsai is a part of Japanese culture that dates back a thousand years. Patience and attention to detail are parts of Japanese culture that can be represented in the form of Bonsai.
The Journey
What started out as a hobby has turned into a passion for the Art of Bonsai. In the Spring of 2023 our company was formed. At the time, we had no idea what we were jumping into. We’ve gone from knowing very little about nature and horticulture, then learned how to harvest and enhance the beauty nature effectively. Even something as simple as watering has turned into part science and part art. In 2024, we started to get into Yamadori which is the practice of collecting trees from their natural wild environment to create Bonsai. We’ve had some great adventures traveling across the United States and finding material to put into a pot. We’ve also had the opportunity to learn from some of the best Bonsai Artists along the way. Each day is an opportunity to learn and grow our knowledge of nature and the Art of Bonsai.
